➤ SHSL Description: Very descriptive and cautious opinions on foods, while also being able to detect many specific flavors and ingredients within them by taste and smell.
➤ Talent in court: Although, not exactly helping unless specific situations, he could possibly detect any kinds of poisons and "non-ingredients" in food. Although, he usually analyzes them by smelling them, it often isn't very helpful so sometimes he takes the risk of taking a small bite (Then immediately spitting it out, of course.). He also is more analytical than some others, and can think through most cases thoroughly. He usually doesn't speak until he has all or most of it mapped out.
➤ Weakness in court: Since he is usually trying to make out the whole scenario in his head, he tends to miss a lot of information being said. This sometimes causes him to be a tad bit behind on the whole argument, and sometimes forgets when he should answer a question.

➤ Personality:  Teri isn't the best at socializing with others, and he can be somewhat awkward when having a conversation. However, he doesn't care much about his status quo, and is thoughtless on what others think about him. Mainly because he doesn't want to show weakness towards others. He usually distances himself amongst others as he isn't too chatty. He doesn't have many close relationships (by his own decision, that is), and spends most of his time either reading or just staring into nothingness. Although he isn't too big on friends, he still has morals, and will give help when absolutely necessary (like helping an injured person). He doesn't enjoy deceptive and manipulative actions as he sees people who betray one another "begging for fame". He tends to keep his true feelings with himself, as he feels others have no buisiness in knowing his emotions. He doesn't like being told he's wrong, even when he is. Usually he ends up arguing for a while.

+ Motivative, He tries to help others to be at their best performance, and usually won't stop until they can manage their skills at the best conditions.

+ Analytical, Due to being a critic, he is able to to analyze many situations better than most people.

+ Ingenious, Teri is more intelligent than average- he tends to study very specific (yet weird) topics (like the amount of leaves a fern has or whatever)

+ Creative, He has a lot of ideas he wishes to execute, but he usually can't due to his capabilities.

+ Organized, Teri Doesn't like it when things are very messy, this includes rooms, schedules, even desktop icons, so he always likes to tidy up whatever he can.

= Humble, Teri doesn't think too highly of himself and acknowledges his physical and social disabilities.

= Quiet, Teris is more of an introvert, and keeps to himself most of the time. But he can be moderately talkative when he is either talking to a close friend.

= Subjective, His opinions are his own- Teri isn't usually influenced by other people

= Mysterious, Teri isn't too open about talking about himself. Despite not having any huge secrets and whatnot, he tries to keep the conversation on other people when he can.

= Critical, (duh) His criticisms can be seen as hurtful or mean at some times, but he really just wants to be a perfectionist.

= Idealistic, Teri has very high standards, and hates it when things aren't in "tip-top shape", this includes rooms, schedules, art and many other situations.

X Deadpan, He doesn't show much emotion is most situations. He does have emotions, but he chooses to not express them to others

X Noncomplient, Teri doesn't like being told what to do, and usually goes off in his own ways.

X Socially Inept, Due to being distant from other people most of his life, his social skills aren't too great. Especially when meeting new people. Every so often he says things without thinking, usually ending up in an extremely awkward state.

➤ Background: Teri was an only-child, born in an average home on the outskirts of the large city of Seoul. His mom and dad were both middle school and high school teachers, respectively. His parents usually babied him and (to an extent) spoiled him in some ways. Despite this, he always kept his feelings bottled up within him. As a child Teri was always shy and didn't interact with other children as much as normal. Although that's somewhat normal for a young child, he never grew out of his little bubble even as he grew older. His parents were worried for him and wanted to expose him to a larger crowd where he could fit in, so they sent him to a prestigious boarding school hours away from home when he was in middle school. He was always academically skilled (except when it came to sports and physical education), his social capabilities didn't get much better. He always had some distaste for the foods served at his school, but he didn't have the nerve to say something to the chefs. Due to being the loner kid, he was hit on with lots of verbal bullying, and was hit with depression. But there was nothing he could really turn to for support. He always wanted to turn to someone he could call a friend, but there was always something he didn't like about someone. Around the end of the first semester, he bumped into someone fairly similar to himself. While walking down the halls of the school, Teri tripped on the staircase (he wasn't too keen on his surroundings), and dropped his glasses on the floor. After a bit of searching for them, someone ran up to help him. His name was Yujin. He was less shy than Teri himself was, but he had a very kind demeanor about him and long story short, he and Yujin became good friends. Although he was still being bullied, it didn't affect Teri as much as it was before since he had someone he could turn to and share his feelings with. Yujin was someone Teri looked up to- his hero. However, little by little things began to change. Yujin was hit with the bullying later as well and he didn't take it well. Yujin was thrusted into a state of depression, and despite his efforts, Teri couldn't exactly comfort him. Several weeks later, disaster struck. Yujin had taken his life from all the bullying and stress. Teri was more shocked than sorrowful. He didn't expect something so extreme from Yujin. Despite the situation, everyone eventually forgot about it. Soon after, everything went back to normal. Teri got bullied again like the previous semester. Then Teri realized the same thing that happened to Yujin could happen to him aswell. The following summer he pleaded to his parents to be released from the school, as he didn't want to endure the bullying any further, to which his parents ended up agreeing to. His parents admitted him to a small public school nearby. During that summer, Teri decided he didn't want to be that small shy kid who didn't have any friends anymore. He didn't want to be bullied again. So he decided to change. He grew out and dyed his hair so he wouldn't be recognized by anyone, and began to be more confident in himself. Teri was still quiet and didn't talk to people much, but he definitely became less shy and confident to voice his opinions.

Teri didn't feel like he had a talent at all. He just felt that he was at least somewhat normal at this point. He never had any life goals and just presumed he would become a teacher like his parents. But it turns out, his mother began talking about Teri's meticulous tastes to her friends. A few weeks after his new semester, he was greeted by his mother's friend who worked at a restaurant that was slowly going downhill. He didn't think he would be able to help, but he did anyways with good intentions. He tried the foods prepared there, and gave his opinions on each one. Not surprisingly, the restaurant's quality in food increased greatly after his guidance. He was happy he got to help someone, and decided to make a blog about what he did.  He quickly gained popularity after that occurance, but that popularity mostly confined within his area. He felt glad he could help someone like that, and wanted to continue. He made a blog on the internet with an article with his review of that specific restaurant. The article gained popularity because of how much detail it went into for each menu item. Not long after, he got more requests to critique restaurants from other storeowners. Each restaurant he visited he wrote a blog about and attached his critique to it. The restaurants in his area gained popularity from it, and soon after he was asked by other restaurant owners from across the country. He was taken aback by this sudden rise in fame, as he was always part of a smaller group of people. But he was glad, nonetheless.
After completing middle school he decided to take a break from any work-related matter. During the summer before his high school semester, he received a letter requesting him to join Hope's Peak Academy with his (Somewhat controversial) talent in critiquing food. He was ecstatic because despite his popularity, he didn't think of himself too highly of himself. But he was a bit hesitant at first, as his first boarding school wasn't exactly heaven. But he told himself "This is a school of hope, they wouldn't invite some jerk here" and he wanted to become more confident in himself, so he accepted the letter immediately after. After his parents congratulated him (a lot), he went to get packed. After stuffing a few notebooks and binders into a small backpack (He didn't have a lot to pack, really), he headed to Hope's Peak a day before the opening ceremony. He glanced at his watch- "7:56". In a few minutes he would soon be part of the school of hope. After stepping into the school, he was hit with a short dizziness. His head hurt and he collapsed to the ground. ... The next thing he remembered was the smell of fresh sea salt. His head still hurting, he looked around, and realized this was not an ordinary school.

He is a supertaster (Someone who has more tastebuds than average) and that trait plays a great role with his talent
Despite being a food critic, he is particularly underweight, as he usually only eats foods when he is needed to critique a restauraunt.
He isn't too big when it comes to physical tasks
Even though he grew up in one, he isn't a city-person. He prefers small quiet areas rather than a noisy city
While still being a SHSL Food Critic, he is still very critical towards other topics. He just simply critques food as an occupation.
He doesn't use electronics much- he only really uses them when getting a phone call or writing a blog.
His outfit normally isn't as formal as the picture depicts. He only dresses nice when he is called to a restaurant and such.
Ironically, he despises cooking his own meals.
He has a somewhat high-ish voice (kinda like naegis jp va)
He hates waking up early in the morning
Teri is scared of syringes
He can get all shaky and stuttery when he's called "cute" or "sweet" 
When introducing himself, he sometimes shakes other peoples' hands with the wrong hand.
